Shannon (Seanan) Wai

An aesthetic beautician by training, I have always been drawn to the potential of marketing online and social media as an early adopter. Having a dual career as a therapist and lead marketing person, at every salon/spa where I worked, has given me a unique perspective with accompanying skills.

Being active in this industry for over 20 years has not diminished my love for it. The challenges that owner operated businesses encounter, have challenged me. With marketing and advertising moving further into the digital world, your success depends on being guided to the right platforms, creating and delivering the most effective campaigns, and having the analytical information interpreted for you.

My goal is to provide these essential services (and more), with the perspective and knowledge of being active in the world of personal care. The ever changing technologies, methods, inventions and reinventions in personal care can be seen as challenges or opportunities. With Higher, the perspective is always of opportunities, growth and learning. Let’s work together to take you HIGHER!

Fatana Naturals Body Products

We are all African, we are all beautiful!

Organic chemistry has always held an endless fascination for me, and my knowledge in cosmetology, regarding active ingredients and their benefits, has reassured my clients that the treatments they receive will deliver as promised. I have always wanted to create my own range of all natural body and skin care products, so when the opportunity arose, I dived straight into research and development. After producing test batches I was satisfied with, samples were handed out to willing testers, and my first product, a body butter was born.

Fatana Naturals, created in partnership with Sebothoma Gilbert Fatana, is a company of shared ideals and collaboration. We wanted a range of products with ingredients sourced from the African continent. Shea Butter from Ghana, Coconut oil from Mozambique, Cocoa butter from Kenya, would be the backbone of whole range, with the addition of other precious ingredients of African origin. All Fair Trade to ensure that sustainable methods, community economic empowerment, and social development would come first. Premium quality ingredients blended into affordable, eco friendly products that are safe to use on all skin types, and all ages, made in Africa for all of her peoples. We are all African, we are all beautiful!
